Mangosteen Benefits
This Asian gem of a fruit potentially has some great benefits for us. The fruit itself is about the size of a tangerine and is said to have a sweet taste. Grown in the forests of Asia the tree is slow to mature taking around 10 years to do so growing to around 80 feet tall. The fruit themselves will not survive at temperatures under 40 degrees fahrenheit.
Mangosteen’s major benefit is in it’s extremely high levels of antioxidant’s being recognised for their anti aging properties. This is not the only ingredient found in the Mangosteen there are many more, fiber, potassium, calcium, vitamins B1, B2, C, B6 iron and many more.
